A PRESCRIPTION delivery driver has denied sexually assaulting a vulnerable pensioner.
Dennis Reed is alleged to have targeted the elderly woman who is housebound by repeatedly assaulting her and making her touch him inappropriately over a period of six weeks.
The complainant reported Reed to a woman who comes round to her home in Colchester to cut her hair.
She then took the matters to Essex Police.
Reed, 68, denied attempted oral rape, sexual touching and assault by beating at a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
He will now stand trial back at the same court in February.
It is alleged that Reed, of Sydney Street, Colchester, pre-planned the abuse and made suggestive comments to the complainant about his sexual preferences which included cross dressing.
A search of his vehicle found a bag full of women’s clothes, fake breasts and sex toys.
Reed's defence is the incidents were consensual.
