The loved ones of a driver killed in a crash have paid tribute to a “true family man.”

Father-of-four David Jones, 39, from Southminster, tragically died following a collision in Blue Mills Hill in Wickham Bishops.

Mr Jones’ family have now paid a touching tribute to him, saying he was a selfless and loving man.

They said: “David will be greatly missed by his partner, his four children and his family.

"He worked in the past as a steel erector welder and in construction but most of all loved making craft work with his children.

“David was a most helpful big hearted man to his friends and family. He wore his heart on his sleeve and when anyone asked for help he never said no, however big or small the problem was.

“He dedicated his life to his partner and kids. He was a true family man and put everyone else before himself without a second thought and did everything with a smile on his face. David was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.”
