Police are expected to keep a road where a fatal crash happened closed until this evening.
The accident in Blue Mills Hill in Wickham Bishops happened shortly after 11pm yesterday.
When they attended they found a silver Ford Fiesta and a black BMW 520 which had been in collision.
Both vehicles had left the road and the Fiesta had come to rest in a hedge.
Sadly, the driver of the Fiesta, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five people have been arrested.
In a tweet Inspector Rob Brettell, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said the road would be closed until 3pm.
