Three women will appear in court after being reported for offences at Braintree’s largest care home.
Lorna Hortilano, 44, of Hammond Place, Braintree, has been reported for two offences under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in connection with an investigation into care staff at the Old Deanery Care Village on Deanery Hill.
Adeshola Adediwura, 32, of Clockhouse Way, Braintree, has been reported for assault by beating, one offence under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Anita Ray, 45, of Victoria Street, Braintree, has also been reported for one offence of assault by beating, two offences under the Protection of Harassment Act 1997 and one offence under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
They have all been ordered to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 26.
A fourth woman was informed that due to insufficient evidence no further action against her is currently planned.
