Drinkers had an ale of a time at a festival.
The 10th Braintree Real Ale Festival, held at the Bocking Arts Theatre, attracted crowds of thirsty visitors who enjoyed 75 different tipples, including a small selection of cider, perries and wine.
The event, organised by the Braintree Lions Club and the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), took place over three days, ending yesterday.
