As part of the Community Games events taking place across the county, the Braintree BMX Club will be hosting a free Taster Session for budding riders this Saturday, June 14.
Basic instruction on the BMX track will be given to riders, and members of the club will be on hand to provide tips on how to properly ride a BMX bike and conduct a general safety check.
In addition to these tips, riders that attend on the day will each get the chance to create designs that will be collected together for an art display.
At the end of the day, there will be awards up for grabs including Best Rider and Jump of the Day. Awards will be presented by Tony Everard, Ward Councillor for Bocking North and Chairman of Friends of Glebe Wood and Open Spaces.
The BMX Club Taster Sessions will take place from 11.30-13.30 at the Braintree BMX Track, Deanery Hill, off Panfield Lane, Braintree.
