A group of daring fundraisers climbed the O2 to raise money for the region's air ambulance.
Witham's Darting Doris darts team, along with several friends, managed to raise £400 for the Essex and Herts Ambulance by tackling the hour and-a-half climb of the London landmark.
Tina Townsend said: "There were 11 of us who completed the climb.
"Three of us did the zipwire challenge earlier in the year and after that we decided we wanted to do something else for charity.
"We wanted something everybody could at least have a go at.
"It was another bottle of wine moment."
Several members of the group are afraid of heights, or suffer from health conditions which limited their ability to climb.
However all of the team made it to the top, where they were treated to spectacular views across the country's capital.
Mrs Townsend said: "I found it easier than the zipwire bearing in mind I have a fear of heights, but it was a difficult climb.
"There were 11 with us and another group of 12 just behind and the walkway was moving up and down.
"It was hard and we had people with various challenges with us.
"When we got to the top it was amazing to be up there."
