Get your dancing shoes on and get ready for a night of traditional wartime music.
Tunes from the Forties, including swing jive and traditional wartime social community dancing, is sure to get Witham’s Memorial Hall moving.
The hall has a large dance floor which is perfect to dance along to music by Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw and Benny Goodman.
A big part of the war years were community dances such as the Palais Glide and the Lambeth Walk so go along and get in the spirit of the Forties.
Don’t forget to dress to impress in a wartime style if you wish.
The event will take place at the Royal British Legion Memorial Hall, Newland Street, Witham, on Saturday, April 21. It will run from 7.30pm until 11.30pm and entry is £7. More information on 07707 168631.
