Companies are being urged to complete a survey aiming to create a picture of the needs of the business community in Braintree.
Braintree Council wants to heart from businesses about the support they require so it can shape its future business support.
The survey addresses areas including support funding, infrastructure and events.
Tom Cunningham, councillor responsible for economic development, said: "Helping businesses thrive within our district is a key priority – they play an important role in supporting a prosperous economy by providing the jobs and services our residents reply on, so it’s important to us that we understand their needs.
"That’s why we want to hear their views on this survey so we can plan future work to support them to grow and prosper.”
