WITHAM’S MP is hosting an apprenticeships fair as part of her campaign to Get Witham Working.

Priti Patel has organised the event at the New Rickstones Academy from 10am on November 27.

More than 30 businesses and organisations have already confirmed they will be attending.

The fair aims to provide a means for young people to meet with prospective employers and find what opportunities are available to them.

Priti, who is organising the event for the fourth year running, said: “With less than five weeks until the Witham Apprenticeships Fair, I am delighted that over 30 businesses and organisations have already confirmed their participation.

“With such a fantastic range of employers expected at this event, I encourage all local young people interested in pursuing an apprenticeship to take advantage of this free opportunity to engage directly with local and regional companies and explore the opportunities available.

“The towns and villages in the Witham constituency and beyond are such tremendous places to live and work, and I want to ensure that young people are able to see the work opportunities available to them.

“I look forward to meeting young people and jobseekers and I commend the participating businesses and organisations for joining me and displaying such tremendous local leadership.”

Employers interested in securing a place at the fair should contact Priti Patel’s Westminster Office at WithamMP@parliament.uk, on 020 7219 3528 or at House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA.
