Fine art, jewellery and crafts will be on display as an annual show returns for the fifth year.

The Essex Craft and Design Show takes place on Saturday and Sunday at Cressing Temple Barns.

Displays will include fine art, photography, ceramics, textiles and jewellery.

Designers and makers will be on hand exhibiting their work, while the visiting public will have the opportunity to chat to them and pick themselves up a unique piece.

As well as admission to the show, visitors will be able to visit the 12th century barns at Cressing Temple, along with the extensive grounds and Tudor-walled garden.

The event is part of the Essex Summer of Art, a county council initiative which continues with a series of art trails across the county in October and November.

Cressing Temple Barns, in Witham Road, Cressing, is open from 10.30am to 4.30pm this Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is £5 for adults, £4 for concessions and free for under-16s. Visit essexcraftanddesignshow.com
