Royalty made an unexpected visit to Stansted Airport after their flight to the Olympic Games was diverted.
Three members of the Luxembourg royal family were due to land at London City Airport on Saturday to meet athletes in the Olympic Village and attend events.
But bad weather caused the flight, carrying Prince Felix, Prince Louis and his wife Princess Tessy, to be transferred to Stansted.
Stansted staff leapt into action to ensure the surprise guests had a trouble-free journey through the airport.
Customer service team manager Andy McPhee said: “We met the cavalcade on the terminal forecourt and escorted the party through the check in process and onto their plane.
“They were all extremely friendly, relaxed and grateful for their effortless passage through Stansted.”
