Football legend Jimmy Greaves will be at the launch of a new exhibition about sporting heroes.
The ex-Spurs player, and one of England’s most prolific goal scorers, will be at Braintree District Museum on July 7 to talk to visitors about his career.
Greaves, a business partner at The Notleys Golf Club in White Notley, will be joined by members of sports clubs in the area, who will be talking about their sports and how people can get involved.
The Sporting Heroes touring exhibition itself celebrates the East of England's sporting success and will be at the Manor Street museum until September 29.
The museum is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and closed on bank holidays.
Admission charges £3 adults, £1.50 concessions and children free.
