The fight against gingerism, the British obsession with queueing and one teenage boy’s obsession with Justin Bieber.
These were just some of the topics covered by youngsters competing in the North Essex Regional Final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge at Honywood Community Science College.
Sophie Banks from Mountfitchet Mathematic and Computing College wowed judges with her winning speech A Story About A Girl at the public speaking competition held on Thursday.
