Pupils from the Mandy Mason School of Dance are busy rehearsing for their next production.

As Time Goes By will be performed at Alec Hunter Humanities College, Stubbs Lane, Braintree, on Friday and Saturday.

The show features some of the most popular music and dance from the last sixty years and has a cast of over 200.

The dance school opened in 1973 with classes at Black Notley Village Hall with just six pupils, with a second branch opening the following year in Cressing, which later transferred to Great Bradfords.

Today, the Braintree classes are held at Marks Farm Community Hall and the purpose-built dance and drama studios at Alec Hunter Humanities College.

The school takes pupils from the age of three upwards for classes in ballet, tap and freestyle modern.
