A woman who has battled cancer raised more than £1,000 for charity.
Jackie Reading hosted a strawberry tea party at the Hare and Hound pub in High Garrett.
In total she raised £1005.90 for Breast Cancer Care.
At least 80 people turned out to enjoy scones and strawberries on July 8.
Jackie, 51, of Queenborough Lane, Braintree, said: "I had breast cancer last year.
“Now I am able to, I wanted to help others who are also going through treatment."
There was also a tombola with a grand prize of a satellite navigation system and a giant raffle.
She thanks the Hare and Hound, Reading’s Braintree, High Garrett Service Station and other local companies who donated prizes, and Sharon Thompson for her help.
