Classic Jaguars, Rolls Royces and many more provided a treat for more than 3,000 motor enthusiasts at the weekend.

More than 500 classic and modern cars descended on Cressing Temple, Cressing, on Sunday July 17 for the county’s biggest motor show.

As well as the cars, there was also a Formula 1 racing simulator and a replica of the Silver Bird wartime aeroplane.

The main field displayed some of the most famous cars from across the globe, such as Cadillacs, Ford Cobras, Ferraris and Porches.

As people walked through to the Cressing Temple Barns, they witnessed a world of British engineering with more than 50 Jaguar vehicles from the past 80 years on display.

Essex County Council organised the event, and a spokesman said: “The event attracted visitors of all ages, not just serious car fans.

“There were toddlers in push chairs, families having a great day out and grandparents taking a trip down memory lane.

“I personally spoke to more than 80 visitors and each and every member of the public spoke of how great the event was.”
