Crime and anti-social behaviour in Braintree is at an all time low, according to the Home Office.
The latest data shows crime and nuisance behaviour is at its lowest level since online crime maps were launched in December.
In May, there were 10 burglaries, 122 incidents of anti-social behaviour, one robbery, eight vehicle crimes, 27 violent crimes and 53 “other” crimes, which includes criminal damage, shoplifting and drug offences.
Violent crime, including common assault, harassment and grievous bodily harm, has been most prevalent in the town centre.
