A wife has raised more than £2,000 for the hospice which cared for her husband in his last days.
Anna McCormick, 36, of Ebenezer Close, Witham, hosted a series of events including a table top sale and a fundraiser at Witham Town Football Club to raise money for Farleigh Hospice.
Along with friends she raised £506 at the latest event after raffling prizes such as a signed Olly Murs album and a VIP night at the Sugar Hut club.
Mrs McCormick aims to raise £3,000 for the hospice which she said was so supportive to her husband Peter and their family as he battled lung cancer.
