A company has shut its Witham call centre after appointing administrators.
Kitchens Direct, which was based in The Newlands, Witham, was part of Homeform Group Ltd, the same company behind Moben Kitchens, Dolphin Bathrooms and Sharps Bedrooms.
Phil Bowers and Bill Dawson, partners at business advisory firm Deloitte, were appointed joint administrators on July 6.
Deloitte could not confirm how many jobs were lost at the call centre, but it is thought to be around 30 to 40.
