A Witham company created 15 extra jobs after beating the recession by expanding abroad.
Simarco International, a freight and logistics company who transport goods across five continents, this week released figures showing a close to 22 per cent increase in turnover to £22 million.
They increased their workforce by more than 10 per cent and have further plans for recruitment within the town.
Managing director Simon Reed said: “I believe that the success we’re seeing bodes well for the UK economy because we are something of a barometer for how vibrant exporters are."
