Two cyclists on a 2,000-mile charity bike ride are nearing the end of their journey - and braving wild dogs along the way.

Linton Nightingale and James Keable, both 26, have been on their journey for almost two months now and are currently in Romania.

The Braintree pair have been exploring the Transylvanian region of Romania, and have got to grips with the pros and cons of the country.

In their online blog, Mr Nightingale said he was chased by a pack of wild dogs after leaving his travel companion for a solo ride.

The pair are raising money for cancer charity CLIC Sargent and FARA, which funds two orphanges for disabled children in Romania.
