Two outdoor gyms are now open.
The free fitness equipment has been installed in Meadowside in Braintree and Spa Road in Witham.
Each has 13 pieces of gym equipment, including a mini ski and a cross trainer.
Braintree Council's gym instructor Justin Mills is holding special events at:
Meadowside this coming Wednesday from 1pm - 2pm and 5pm - 6pm and on September 10 at 10am - 11am
And Spa Road this coming Thursday from 10am - 11am and 5pm - 6pm, and on September 9 at 4pm - 5pm.
