This year, the branch organised a village quiz night and 16 tables of eight filled the village hall.
John Hainsworth was quizmaster, and his wife, Eileen, and her team provided the ploughman’s suppper.
Twenty raffle prizes were handed to the winners by Brendan Cassidy, chairman of Notley Green Community Association.
Plans are advancing for the village clean-up. The branch is looking for volunteers from around the village to help with this task.
