A coffee morning, hosted by chairman Mrs Willis, was well attended with 32 members and guests enjoying tea, coffee and cakes.
They had the use of the Braintree community bus and Richard Downing made several trips to transport members to the event.
Mrs Flowers and Mrs Fane looked after the raffle and tombola and £119.30 was raised which will go towards the December Christmas party.
Outings to Herne Bay and Southwold were enjoyed during the summer.
