Man dies after medical emergency at NRG Gym in Colchester (Image: NQ)
A man has died following a medical emergency at a Colchester gym.
Emergency services were called to NRG Gym in Grange Way at about 4.20pm on Sunday, November 1.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they sent two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles and a critical care vehicle were sent to the scene.
Despite the best efforts of the paramedics a man was prounced dead at the scene, the spokesman confirmed.
Following the incident the gym was temporarily closed, but has since reopened.
NRG Gym was approached for a comment.
