Employers included DHL, Ryanair, UPS, Jet2, Mulberry, MAG Stansted and construction firms Farrans and Laing O’Rourke, which are helping deliver London Stansted’s transformation project.
Nathan Mullane, employment and skills manager at London Stansted, said: "It was fantastic to see so many people coming along to find out about the opportunities available at London Stansted.

"There’s a lot happening at the airport, and our transformation isn’t just about improving Stansted for passengers.
"It’s also creating opportunities for local people to build careers and develop new skills.
"Having companies delivering some of our biggest projects at the careers fair meant people could speak directly to them, hear about the work they’re doing and find out what opportunities are available.
"We want local people to benefit from the investment being made at Stansted and hopefully some of those who came along will go on to play a part in the airport’s future."
Farrans is building the airport’s new Skylink walkways, which will connect the terminal with the satellite buildings containing the departure and arrival gates.
The transformation’s centrepiece is a three-bay terminal extension that will add 16,500 square metres of space, including new shops, bars and restaurants.
Eddie Burton, stakeholder and social value manager at Farrans, said: "We were really pleased to be part of this careers fair which gave us the chance to engage with local businesses as well as meet people interested in finding out more about the work we’re doing at London Stansted Airport.
