IT'S been an incredibly busy few months in British and international politics, as I’m sure you’re aware, and I’d forgive you for being a bit fed up with it all.
Meanwhile, my team and I have been working hard to prioritise local issues and bring about positive change in our community.
Recently, I’ve been pushing for improvements at the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust (MSEFT) – the trust that runs Broomfield hospital.

Despite the incredibly hardworking staff, many of whom I’ve met and spoken with, MSEFT was placed into an Intensive Recovery Support Programme in March.
Since then, however, there has been concerningly little improvement.
I won’t stop challenging the government until patients receive the support and healthcare they deserve.
I’ve also been working to ensure constituents’ safety concerns are taken seriously.

Many constituents have also raised concerns with me about the manipulation of restrictive covenants, which are legal obligations tied to a property that can restrict how it is used or developed.
Just recently, I hosted a town hall meeting attended by over 100 residents, bringing together legal experts to advise homeowners on their rights, and I will continue working with MPs across the country to ensure constituents' concerns are properly addressed.
As always, if there is an issue you would like to raise, please do get in touch.
