ALL lines are blocked across the Greater Anglia network between Essex and London after reports of a "person on the tracks".

Greater Anglia said the incident in the Goodmayes area means all lines are blocked as a safety precaution and services are delayed by up to two hours or cancelled.

The affected routes included services between London Liverpool Street and Clacton, Colchester Town, and Southend Victoria.

A Greater Anglia spokesperson said: "We have received reports of a person on the tracks in the Goodmayes area.

"As a safety precaution, all lines are now blocked until the person has been removed from the area."

The emergency response team are attending as quickly as possible to carry out a detailed inspection.

A Greater Anglia spokesperson said: "Train services will be delayed, altered or cancelled at short notice whilst the response team deal with this incident."
