ESSEX Police officers speed checked over 300 vehicles in one day earlier this month, using special equipment in the Braintree district.
Earlier this week, officers carried out speed checks on over 300 vehicles, using special equipment, in Finchingfield, Shalford and Bocking.
Speeding vehicles is one of 'the biggest complaints' Essex Police receive from Braintree's community.
So far, 39 deaths have been caused as a result of speeding in Essex this year, as well as 675 people suffering injuries.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "Over the next few months you will see a lot more officers conducting speed checks in the Braintree district."
"We now have a special camera means we don't have stop vehicles at the side of the road anymore.
"Yesterday, over 300 vehicles were checked for speed in #Finchingfield #Shalford #Bocking
"Speeding vehicles is one the the biggest complaints we receive from the community, so far this year 39 people have been killed and 675 people seriously injured on Essex roads.
"We will still be helping people, keeping people safe and catching criminals."
