A KNIFEPOINT robbery in a Co-op has seen a police probe launched.
Essex Police say the suspect walked into the Co-op in The Street in Hatfield Peverel at 7.30pm on Sunday, August 4, before producing a knife and demanding money from staff.
He was also carrying a bottle of wine.
Officers say the man grabbed cash from the till and then left the store on foot heading towards Maldon Road.
The suspect was reportedly wearing black joggers, a black jumper with the hood up and a patterned bandana over his face.
He stole around £100 and a bottle of wine.
A spokesman said: We particularly want to hear from anyone who was in the shop between 7.30pm and 7.35pm or was in their car outside and has dashcam or other footage.
"Anyone with information should contact us as soon as possible."
