A NATIONAL tools and building supplies chain has launched a new branch in Braintree, creating six jobs for the area.
Toolstation, a UK building hardware supplier with more than 570 sites in the country, has launched its store in Century Drive.
The store has over 25,000 products for trade and DIY customers, including items from brands like Milwaukee, Makita, Wessex, Kärcher, Leyland and more.
It is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, Saturdays 7am to 6pm, and Sundays 9am to 4pm.
Store Manager Cheryl Green said: "We are excited to announce the opening of our latest store in Braintree.
“Our team is eager to begin supporting more tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts, and others throughout the area.
“We are committed to delivering a friendly, reliable, and dependable service to our community, ensuring they have the tools and expertise necessary to complete any project.”
Customers will be able to order products online via the Toll Station website or its app and then click and collect from within the Braintree branch.
A spokesman for Toolstation has commented on the incentives new members can benefit from joining its loyalty scheme.
They said: “Local tradespeople who join the Toolstation Club will also be able to benefit from saving 5% off all orders throughout the first month of their membership, with no restrictions on basket size or price.
“Upon completion of the first month, customers that spend £75 or more each month afterwards will continue to benefit from the 5% discount.
“They will also be eligible for future prize draws, product deals, discounts, and competitions throughout the year.”
