A MAN from Witham has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
The 32-year-old man from Witham was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
Officers arrested the man in Witham on Friday June 28.
Following intelligence, a warrant was carried out at an address on Humber Road in Witham in the early hours of Friday.
Officers located items associated with fraud and drug supply.
He has since been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
Sergeant Andrew Christian from Braintree and Uttlesford Town Centre said: “Teams across the force are working hard to tackle drug related criminality in Essex throughout the year.
“This warrant was carried out following intelligence involving phone networks used to facilitate drug deals.
“The investigation is ongoing and we will continue to work hard to take illegal substances off the streets so they are unable to harm vulnerable people.”
