A NURSERY has had its first inspection in six years and has received the highest possible grading from a government watchdog.
Busy Bees Day Nursery, in Great Notley, has maintained its outstanding grading from Ofsted following its latest inspection.
It was rated outstanding for its quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
Ofsted inspector Jessica Whiteley said the nursery staff are “extremely skilled” and “passionate” about creating a child-centred environment where all children are supported to flourish.
The report said: “Children are highly motivated and enthusiastic learners.
“They demonstrate high levels of engagement in the activities provided for them and use resources and tools on offer to extend their learning.
“The language-rich environment created by the staff supports all children to acquire and use language, and they are excellent communicators.
“Children are confident to express their own ideas, needs and interests, and these are listened to and responded to by the staff. Children are highly respectful and kind to each other.
“Staff teach them how to manage their emotions and work together to resolve any conflict that may arise.”
The report said how SEND children are expertly supported and integrated fully into the nursery, adding how they make "excellent progress”.
Parents speak “extremely highly of the nursery”, it added.
Busy Bees was further praised for its "broad and enriched curriculum" which gives children a range of opportunities and to learn about the world around them.
The inspector also explained how children can communicate with other children in a nursery in Italy, “watch in awe as chicks hatch out of eggs” and complete reading challenges for World Book Day.
On the report, centre director Melissa Harisson said: “We are over the moon to receive our third Ofsted outstanding.
"Over the years, we have strived to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn and grow, and we are so overjoyed for this to be recognised in our recent Ofsted rating.
“We are committed to providing every child with the best start in life and that is at the heart of everything we do.
"We are looking forward to building on our success further and working with our families to ensure they feel part of their child’s journey every step of the way.”
