A crash on a street near the A120 sees a busy road closed and traffic building up.
Bakers Lane in Braintree has been closed in both directions between Pickpocket Lane to Church Road.
The crash was first reported at 1.05pm this afternoon and traffic remains slow around the road closure.
The road closure remains in place according to Essex Highways until further notice.
Travellers are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
Luckily, emergency services confirmed that no one has been injured during the collision.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just before 2pm to a road traffic collision on Bakers Lane near Black Notley.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene but was stood down shortly after arriving on the scene as our services were not needed.”
