A BUSY Essex road is blocked due to a collision – leading to delays for motorists.
Traffic control is reporting a two-vehicle crash which has left the A131 southbound blocked in both directions.
First reported at 10.41am, the crash occurred on the A131 Broad Road and it is affecting traffic between Marks Farm Roundabout and Broad Road.
Traffic is currently slow on the road due to the incident and delays are expected.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called to a collision involving 2 vehicles on the A131 at just after 11.30am today April 10, 2024.
"The road between the Marks Farm Roundabout and the High Garrett roundabout was closed for two hours while emergency services worked.
"Two people from one vehicle were taken to hospital with injuries which were thought to be serious but not life-threatening."
