The report said: “Core knowledge, taught by experts, comes alive in high-quality, subject-specific training.

“Mentors bring practice and theory together carefully.

“This helps trainees transition their learning into the classroom.

“They are extremely well prepared for the realities of teaching.

“Partnership schools hold the provision in high regard.

“Consequently, many trainees secure jobs quickly.”

The report said trainee teachers develop a deep understanding of how pupils learn, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.

Mid Essex ITT was founded in 1994 and provides training for up to 60 teachers a year.

Trainees go on to teach children between the ages of 11 and 18.

After training is completed, they can opt to complete a postgraduate certificate in education through Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.

The business’s last Ofsted rating was in October 2017 which was also ‘outstanding’.

Mid Essex ITT Director Sophie Allchin said: “Mid Essex ITT is led by a small but dedicated leadership team.

“However, we would not be able to operate without the support of our 16 partnership schools who make up the wider Mid Essex ITT team.

"Candidates who train with Mid Essex ITT benefit from the support of a variety of professionals from our schools, including mentors, subject experts and trainers who are specialists in their field.

"Many of our mentors trained with Mid Essex ITT themselves and carry on their love of learning by training new entrants to the profession.”
