A SPECIALIST housebuilder and its retired tenants are raising money for a hospice.
The staff at Churchill Retirement Living and residents of Mill Green Lodge, in Ryland Drive, Witham, are holding a 'winter warmer' event to raise money for Farleigh Hospice on February 22.
Running from 10.3am till 12.30pm, visitors will be able to enjoy coffee, cake, and conversation in return for a small donation.
All money raised through event, which Churchill Living does at all its developments in the UK, will go straight the hospice.
The hospice provides care to patients in mid Essex with terminal illnesses.
Churchill’s Tunji Quadri said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming people to our winter warmer event to raise funds for such a great charity, to help it continue its vital work.
“Every penny counts, which is why we’re asking as many people as possible to come along and support the event and make a donation in return for the refreshments on offer.
“It’s the perfect excuse to enjoy a bit of indulgence, as well as an opportunity for visitors to experience the lifestyle, friendship and community spirit on offer here.”
