AN elderly cat is looking for a new home to live out her twilight years.

Danaher Animal Home, in Wethersfield, has launched an appeal to find a home for the shelter’s “golden oldie” Izzy.

A spokesman said: “Izzy is 16 years young and looking for a tranquil home to put her paws up in her twilight years.

“She hasn’t lived with dogs before, so is ideally looking for a cat and dog-free home and to keep all the attention for herself.

“She likes the chance to take a turn round her own garden, but a warm snuggly spot on the sofa is her main aim.

“Izzy is happy to live with families with older children."

"All cats from Danaher Animal Home are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.

"If you feel Izzy could be a part of your family, we invite you to submit an interest form for her.”
