A PERSON was threatened with a knife and another was punched by balaclava-clad thieves in an incident at a home in Witham.
A police probe has been launched following the incident at an address in Powers Hall End.
It was reported three people gained entry to the home at about 5.55pm on Friday, February 2.
One person inside was threatened with a knife and assaulted while another person was also punched.
The group – all described as wearing balaclavas - made off with money and other valuables.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us.
“Please quote the crime reference number 42/18019/24.”
