New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Braintree’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.
Witham Town Lunch Club, at The Royal British Legion Memorial Hall, Newland Street, Witham, Essex was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 23.
And Shake Express, at 112 High Street, Braintree, was also given a score of five on January 19.
It means that of Braintree's 202 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 156 (77 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
