NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five establishments in the Braintree district, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The Witham Rugby Club in Spa Road and the Swan pub in Bank Street, Braintree were both given five-out-of-five ratings following inspections in January and December respectively.
However, the Witham House, a takeaway at 117 Newland Street was given a three following assessment on December 14.
Elsewhere in Braintree, Village Chicken and Pizza in Fairfield Road was also rated five on January 10.
In and around Halstead, Hedingham Chippy at 121b Swan Street, Sible Hedingham, was rated five-out-of-five.
Star Of India at The Causeway House in Weavers Court, Halstead, was given a four on December 13.
