DRIVERS faced delays on top of rush-hour traffic on Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on a busy road.
One lane on the A12's London-bound carriageway became blocked following a serious smash involving four vehicles, which was first reported at 6.38am.
Motorists were warned to expect congestion from Junction 20 at Hatfield Peverel to Junction 19 at Boreham as a result of the incident.
Essex Police has now confirmed nobody was injured in this crash and only damage was sustained to the four vehicles involved.
The road was reopened around 7.30am.
