TWO people have been arrested following a burglary and theft after being found in Braintree.
Essex Police was working in Fairfield Road and issuing a Community Protection Notice for an unrelated matter when they detected two wanted people leaving a property and quickly arrested them.
Officers arrested one person wanted for theft and another for burglary.
Elisha Hooks, 23, of no fixed abode, has been charged with one count of theft and two counts failing to attend after a drugs test.
She was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
Jamie-Lee Straugheir, 21, of Thomas Way in Braintree, was detained after failing to attend court outside of Essex earlier this month after being charged with burglary.
Acting Inspector Kevin Mayle said: “The quick actions of our officers mean two wanted suspects are now detained and court proceedings can take place.”
