An amateur dramatic society is looking to recruit a director for a pantomime version of Sleeping Beauty.
Silver End Amateur Dramatic Society is currently looking for new members aged 16 and over to audition for Sleeping Beauty which will be performed in January 2009.
The group is also looking to recruit a director for the pantomime and although previous experience would be an advantage it is not essential and the group would like to hear from anyone that is interested.
The society has been putting on successful pantomimes for 15 years.
Leanne Hollocks, a member of the society, said: "We are a small amateur dramatic society and love the fun of performing for the village we have a brilliant back stage crew and musicians that help the shows go off with a bang.
"We are looking for new faces to come and audition and join in the fun."
The society rehearse in Silver End village hall on a Tuesday evening and auditions for Sleeping Beauty will take place in August.
