A handful of workers made redundant last week could soon find themselves with work elsewhere on an industrial estate.
Last week the Witham and Braintree Times revealed that 125 jobs had been axed at JF Nott - an office furniture making firm on Witham's Eastways industrial estate.
Neil Jesse, managing director, at Village Glass, in Freebournes Road, Witham, said he is looking to recruit staff and would be happy to solve the problems of about half a dozen workers.
He said: "I'm looking for good people, it might only be half a dozen but I have been made redundant in my early days and I know how depressing it can be."
