A PAIR of birds are looking for a new aviary to call home.

The Danaher Animal Home, in Wethersfield, has issued an appeal to find female budgies Lemon and Lime a new nest.

A spokesman said: “Lemon and Lime are a sweet pair of adult female budgies looking for a new aviary to call their home.

“They are very bonded and preen each other, but also would like more friends to play with too.

“If you have the perfect aviary these feathered buddies have been dreaming of, and if you're looking to make some new birdie pals, we invite you to submit an interest form to us.

They continued: “If you are not able to adopt but would like to help other animals find their perfect forever home, please consider sponsoring or part-sponsoring an animal whilst they in our care.
