POLICE are hunting for a man in connection with a reported assault in Braintree.

Officers were called to Pets at Home in Charter Way earlier this afternoon, June 22, following reports of what they say appeared to be an assault.

The force has said inquiries, including CCTV enquiries are underway to identify a suspect and a victim.

A spokesman said: "We are appealing for the public’s help to identify this man in connection with an ongoing assault investigation.

"We are releasing a photo of this man, who we would like to speak with in connection with this investigation.
