A GORGEOUS guinea pig is looking for a five-star retirement home.

Poor Pickle is blind and may be deaf as well.

She ended up at Danaher Animal Home when her owners moved house and were unable to take her with them.

A spokesman said: "Pickle is looking for calm retirement home when she can relax, take it easy and know that she is loved and safe.

"Being blind and possibly completely deaf, Pickle is needing a family who will provide her with the calm environment that will allow her to feel safe and secure.

"She can sometimes be panicked by your presence so she needs to learn the signs of you being there and be given time to come forward to say hello in her own time so she never has to feel panicked again.

"Although Pickle is currently a little fazed by other guinea pigs, we feel she will benefit massively if she was given the chance to get to know one while still having her own space.

"She would like a piggy neighbour, although there is a real chance she may never feel comfortable enough to actually move in with that neighbour."
