A CHARITY is opening its doors once again for another mental health session.
Fusion Lifestyle is back at Witham Leisure Centre for its fourth monthly Wellness Wednesday Café on May 25.
The sessions have already had more than 200 visitors and are proving popular with the community.
The events are designed to help adults who may be less active due to age or mental health and to offer the public access to mental and physical health and wellbeing services.
Attendees are offered swimming and gym facilities for 50p as well as free refreshments.
At each wellness café, experts from partner agencies attend including the Adult Mental Health and Well-being Team, Diabetes UK, Essex Dementia Care and more.
Braintree Council community engagement officers are on hand to offer information about health and cost of living initiatives in the area.
Fusion Lifestyle community engagement coordinator Richard Moss said: “We’re delighted with the success of our Wellness Wednesdays Cafes so far and look forward to welcoming even more members of the community to the centre.
“It’s a really challenging time for people at the moment and we want to do our part to help residents to keep active and find support.”
The event takes place monthly at Witham Leisure Centre. Booking is not required.
